Stampin' Up! with Mojo Monday

Today I have a card to share that I created using this week's sketch over at Mojo Monday!  It's a great sketch that is so versatile!  I decided to do some Triple Time Stamping with this sketch and the Petite Petals stamp set using Mossy Meadow and Lost Lagoon! The sentiment is a stamp from a past Paper Pumpkin Kit.  I think it turned really cute! 
I just love the way triple time stamping looks!  I did make one mistake - can you see it?  Don't forget to leave me a comment and let me know what you think about my card!

Sketch Challenge with Always Playing with Paper

I have another challenge card to share with you today.  This card was inspired by the sketch over at Always Playing with Paper (Challenge #10).  It's a simple sketch that could be used in so many ways! 
I decided to go with my favorite combo from the 2014-2016 new in-colors - Blackberry Bliss and Hello Honey!  It does help that the Moonlight Designer Series Paper Stack has gorgeous patterns in this color combo!
I used the Work of Art stamp set for the sentiment and a bit of Hello Honey satin stitched ribbon to finish off!  Did I say how much I LOVE this color combo?!?

Double Challenge Fun

I created this card to enter into two separate challenges.  I love, love combining challenges and combining a sketch and a color combo is the easiest way to go!  For today's card, I was inspired by the sketch over at Freshly Made Sketches (sketch 143) and the color combo over at Hand Stamped Sentiments!  I love Tangelo Twist and was thrilled to see it with Hello Honey and Lost Lagoon!  I used the Work of Art stamp set to create the dotted background and the hearts on the tangelo circle.  The sentiment is from Sketched Birthday.  The DSP is from the Moonight Designer Series Paper Stack.  Please check out Freshly Made Sketches and Hand Stamped Sentiments for lots of fun and inspiration.  Leave me a comment and let me know if you like this card!

CCC02

I really had a good time creating for some challenges today! It felt good to get some cards done! First up is a sketch challenge for Creative Challenge Club (CCC02). I used the Moonlight Designer Series Paper Stack, a little bit of cardstock, the Work of Art stamp set and a stamp from my first paper pumpkin kit!  I just love this color combo (Blackberry Bliss and Lost Lagoon).

Happy July!

A great big THANK YOU to Debra, Amy, Ashley, Tiffany, Leesa and Valerie for coming to create with me last month!  I've got lots of things planned for July!  First, go ahead and mark your calendar for:
 
OPEN CRAFT NIGHT
Friday, July 25th....our first Open Craft Night from 6-10pm.  This is a free event (though donations to Forest Lake Baptist Church will be accepted!).  Bring whatever craft you'd like to work on!  Get out of the house, hang out with friends, meet some new people, and have some fun!  I will have a make a take project available!  Check my facebook page for more info.
 
INK-IT-UP CLASS
Saturday, July 26th - My first Ink-It-Up Class!  At this $10 class you will be provided will all the supplies, stamps, and ink to create 6 cards - 2 each of 3 designs, envelopes included.  We'll be using the Work of Art Stamp Set!  Space if VERY limited so let me know early if you'd like to participate!  The class fee will be waived for anyone who places an order of $25 or more between now and the date of the class.  You'll need to bring your own adhesive so let me know if I need to order some for you to have available at the class.  The snail adhesive is item #104332 and is $6.95.  If you're not local, you can purchase the class and I will mail all the supplies to you!  See the bottom of this post for a buy now button.
 
HOST A PARTY
I want to invite more people to learn about paper crafting.  I need you help!  Please consider hosting a workshop for your friends and family!  Is your wishlist super long (like mine!)?  If so, by hosting a party you can earn some of those items for free.  For a $150 workshop you get $25 in free product, including stamp sets that are only available to hostesses!  You are probably thinking that you don't know anyone who papercrafts or anyone that would be interested in papercrafting.  Don't assume...just invite!  Anyone who books a party this month with also have the Ink-It-Up Class fee waived!!!
